Apt. 1007 “Bleeding Tongue” Repaired Hat (#94). One-of-one (1/1) handmade wearable artwork produced in the USA. This khaki work hat has been extensively worked, reworked, and repaired, featuring heavy distressing, reinforced construction, and a fully exposed, colored, stapled, and stamped brim; the distressed red brim treatment—referred to as the “Bleeding Tongue”—is intentionally revealed through wear and repair, forming the defining visual element of the piece (see photos).
