What will I earn?

YP's commission is 15%. On a consigned piece you keep 85% of the price it sells for, after any discount and before tax, shipping and duties, less the card fees on that piece. You set a Reserve for each piece, the lowest payout you accept; nothing sells below it without your written OK.

How is my piece priced?

From completed sales and live listings across the market, aiming for a strong price within about 90 days. YP sets and adjusts the price; your payout never goes below your Reserve without your written OK.

When am I paid?

In the first weekly payout after the buyer has received the piece and the claim window has closed, by ACH direct deposit, bank wire or Zelle, to an account in your name. Consignors outside the US are paid by PayPal or international wire. Outright purchases are paid within two business days of the piece arriving and passing authentication.

What if a piece does not pass authentication?

It is never listed, sold or donated. It is returned to you for $50 per box, unless YP must hold it or hand it to the brand or the authorities.

How do I send my pieces?

Once the agreement is signed, US consignors receive a free prepaid UPS or USPS label by email; if the carrier loses or damages the box, YP files the claim and passes on what the carrier pays. International consignors ship at their own cost and receive a $50 credit on their first payout. Please send approved pieces only, cleaned and checked.

How long does consignment last?

Pieces are photographed and listed within two weeks of arrival, usually five business days, and are exclusive to YP while consigned. They stay at least 90 days from listing; an earlier return costs 1% of the list price plus shipping. After a year unsold, YP returns them at your cost or donates them for you.

Can YP buy my piece outright?

Yes. Choose "Sell outright" or "Open to either" on the form. YP replies with a written offer, subject to authentication on arrival and a signed bill of sale.
