Collection: BODE

Emily Adams Bode launched BODE in 2016 with a radical premise: build modern garments entirely from antique textiles. Quilts from the 1920s become jackets. Victorian tablecloths become trousers. Every piece tells a story that predates the garment itself. She was the first female designer to show at New York Fashion Week: Men's, won CFDA Emerging Designer of the Year in 2019, and took home Designer of the Year in 2021. BODE pieces are handcrafted using quilting, patchwork, sashiko, and appliqué — techniques that make mass production impossible. That means every BODE garment is essentially one-of-a-kind. Our collection features shirts, jackets, trousers, and accessories — each piece is irreplaceable. There is no restock.
